Child Seats

Child's seats represent a safe and convenient way to to transport your child by bike. Whether you're taking your little bundle of joy to kindergarten or bringing her along on a long expedition, a hard shell seat offers protection, particularly in the event of a fall, as the child is strapped securely into the seat by his torso and feet, unable to simply fall out. Small children should still always wear a helmet when riding in a child's seat! An adjustable belt system also makes for significantly easier handling by preventing the child from leaning out or standing up during the ride. Another way to enhance safety is by placing the child's seat behind the rider, either directly on the luggage rack or mounted above it by means of a swing-arm system. You may not be able to see your child, but this type of setup is significantly safer than constructions where the the child seat is placed in front of the driver or even on the handlebars, since the rider can fall on top of the seat in the event of a fall. Additionally, free-floating seats connected by a swing arm offer greater comfort, since unevennesses in the road can be filtered. The seat is also spring-mounted, making the ride into a pleasant experience for the little ones.
