28" Racing Bike Tyres
Racing bike tyres must be fast and rolling resistence is undesirable because it wastes lots of valuable energy. But whoever cycles winding mountain passes at 70 km/h also needs reliable grip in every turn. Both handling characteristics are directly related to the rubber compound of the racing bike tyres: Soft tyres offer traction and also guarantee adequate cornering grip at high speed. But like in Formula 1 it is not always the soft racing tyres that are the fastest. The aim is to combine fast and good grip rubber compounds with extremely light but also reliable carcasses. To be able to find the optimal compromise, leading tyre manufacturer invest a great deal in the development of superior technology. With great success!
