Fitness Bikes up to £1000

Fitness bikes are very similar to racing bikes. They are designed for the road and are characterised by a particularly light and yet robust construction as well as other special handling characteristics. Further common features are the thin rims and tyres. But whereas racing bikes have those curved drop handlebars, fitness bikes are equipped with straight handlebars, similar to those of the trekking bike. With their narrow tyres, a fitness bike can never-the-less achieve much higher speeds than the trekking bike. Just like racing bikes, fitness bikes are nearly all equipped with rim brakes and derailleurs. They are also not fitted with carriers or mudguards.
