Freeride & Downhill Bike

Freeride and downhill bikes – you can’t get more extreme. Even longer suspension travel, the broadest tyres that only just fit through the forks and frame, add to that wheels and components that don’t give up, even in the face of the heaviest gear and greatest strain. The forks are often provided with a shaft to withstand the extreme resistance. Hydraulic disc brakes with large discs ensure brute deacceleration. Weight? Pretty disinteresting. Hardcore stability, reliability and functionality come first in a freeride bike. Real freeriders are found in bike parks, mastering higher and higher, longer and deeper drops and monster jumps. And a downhill bike likes it best on the world’s steepest race courses, anyway.
