Touring / City Helmets
In principle, every cyclist should wear a helmet. Accidents and falls can never be ruled out & are often through no fault of one’s own. Cyclists are easily ignored in inner city areas in particular and are cut off or hit by cars turning right. Here a fall can quickly cause a serious head injury if suitable head protection is not worn. In order to minimise the risk of serious injury, a helmet should always be worn during each ride. Modern helmet are in no way uncomfortable. Very good ventilation and simple but effective adaptation systems offer the best wearing comfort. However, trekking and city helmets are barely different from other types of helmets: Basically, a helmet must make no compromises when it comes to safety. This is guaranteed by the European CE test seal.
