Downhill bikes have even more suspension, a stable strong frame, the thickest tyres (which only just fit through the frame and fork!), large diameter hydraulic disc brakes, and wheels and components which even the greatest load and the hardest pace can't hinder. Hardcore stability, reliability and functionality are the most important things for downhill bikes. The true free rider can be found in the bike park where they will be found mastering ever higher, wider and deeper drops and monster jumps. And of course the downhill bike is most at home on the steepest race tracks in the world!
