In 1978 a few guys who loved bikes (and worked in a bike shop themselves) had an idea that they could modify racing bikes with a few alterations like thicker tires and thus create the first version of off-road bikes. The foundations for the production of robust mountain bikes were thus laid! But of course a Rocky mountain bike is an exciting bike for reasons other than just their tyres! Thanks to innovative development, active and wide ranging research, and pure passion Rocky Mountain now manufacture bikes with innovative technology, strong tyres, and many other features.
