With this pedal, Reverse tackle a topic that the bike industry pays far too little attention to - the ergonomics of children's bikes! Whether its the Q-factor of children's bikes, (the distance between the feet), or the simply too large contact area on the pedal body for children's feet, the bike industry doesn't give enough thought to these topics. These two factors have finally been properly addressed with the Youngstar pedal! The shortened pedal axle allows a significantly lower Q-factor, which minimizes the X-position of the legs. This makes pedalling much easier for children and leads to a much rounder pedalling motion!

The ergonomic ratio of the contact surface to the children's shoes prevents the pedals from flipping. Imagine you had to stand on a pedal the size of an A4 sheet of paper - an inevitable tilting forward or backward of the pedal would be the result, as you could never stand safely and centrally on such a pedal!
