Hello,
First I said that I bought this optional lock holder only because I could not dismantle my originals from the old bike.
The holder itself is ok, lock fits super BUT the fixing of the flap by means of the "X" is total scrap / muck, because the flap does not hold. So that the flap does not loose and open at every huckel you have to plug it into the housing.
With the original lock holder the tab was useful and above all functionally fixed. Since Abus would expect them to maintain a "proven" system, instead of placing the emphasis on the design and throwing the functionality overboard.
So I give only 3 out of 5 stars.
In conclusion, it is said that the fault here lies solely with Abus.
