Founded in 2017, Afton Shoes design a very modern type of cycling shoe. They’ve developed footwear especially for trail, enduro and freeride use that not only looks good on mountain bikes, but is also chic and suitable for everyday use. Their innovative designs feature a special mono-directional midsole that stiffens in one direction to improve pedalling efficiency and softens in the other direction to offer comfortable walking. Their shoes also feature breathable and odour-retardant inner materials. Afton Shoes create both cycling shoes for flat pedals with a robust and non-slip outsole and shoes for clipless pedals.
