Warmth, flexibility, protection and support were at the top of the list of requirements when Assos started developing the winter tights, and each feature had to be combined with the precise and sleek design of the regularFit platform. Your product team was able to bridge the gap between the Arctic-strength Bonka bib shorts and the Knickers for the milder spring and autumn season - mission accomplished!

Ideal for icy winter rides where knee warmers and Knickers would expose bare skin to the cold, where full leg protection and a high level of insulation are required: Winter bib shorts offer the solution. RX Heavy is Asso's highly insulating, roughened Roubaix fabric, which makes up most of the panel, and which now has an water-repellent coating for added protection against light rain. This fabric safely protects your pelvis and legs from biting wind and cold air.

The back of the leg section is made of RX Light, which makes the area that moves the most breathable. The fit of the straps belongs to the "regularFit" category, which means that they are slightly compressive where necessary, but not as tight as racingFit. The fabric panels are preformed and sewn to fully surround and support the thigh muscles, knees and calves as they move - following the movement every time the pedal is kicked. Assos have used their proven Mille EVO insert as padding, which with 8mm high soft memory foam provides reliable, lasting comfort on any ride in cold weather.

RX Heavy
A roughened warp-knitted fabric designed to provide excellent comfort with its moisture-wicking, highly insulating and extremely flexible properties. 290 g/m2,water repellent coating and odorControl.

RX Light
Lightweight warp knitted from asymmetric stretch that provides light insulation and increased comfort to the most moving areas. 205 g/m2, water repellent coating and odorControl.

Mille S7 EVO
The elastic insert Mille, further developed. The insert, now new in black, features Assos proven 8 mm high layer of memory foam and lies at the interface between comfort and performance.

3D waffle
A patented three-layer perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight.

goldenGate
A patented process that interrupts the seams on the two side inserts, allowing a more three-dimensional freedom of movement in this sensitive area that is always in motion.

Y7 Frame Carrier bibTech
Wide, flexible straps are brought together in the upper back area in a "Y"-shaped design to create a flat, stable structure that fits seamlessly between the shoulder blades.

Stabilizer V3
Stabilizes the back thanks to the solid fabric with limited vertical stretch. With Mille GT series motif and climaCode.

Reflective tapes
