The BB5 is equipped with our 3D caliper alignment system, forged brake body and pad adjuster. No tools are required to replace the brake pads. Once you've tested it, you won't be able to believe that the BB5 is a brake for beginners.
Tri-Align Caliper Positioning System
Another original Avid technology that makes your life easier - never before has a brake been easier to install and adjust. Avid's Tri-Align Caliper Positioning System allows you to literally centre the caliper on the disc in seconds. Simply loosen the CPS screws a little, press the brake lever and tighten the screws again. Perfect alignment of the brake calliper in the twinkling of an eye.
