The Axa Defender is a high quality frame lock with a well thought out design. It offers the possibility to plug a plug-in cable or chain into the side of the lock to connect your bike to a fixed object. The Defender ring lock offers optimum protection thanks to the drill-proof cylinder and hardened steel shackle. The AXA Defender can be mounted in various ways. As standard, the lock is fitted with the flexible fixing set (not included) that can be applied to any frame tube, but can also be fixed with a screw from above.

Unfortunately, this lock is not for those who have a more expensive bike. Got my electric bike for 25k stolen outside Coop while I was inside shopping for 5min. The lock itself is its weak point, as you can see on YouTube how it is easily unlocked with a battery-powered metal drill.

Good product
This is a neat lock and it appears to be very robust and well made. The one caveat is that you need to make sure that your bike has the space to accommodate it. The bike I needed to fit it to didn't have enough space on the back brake (due to pannier rack), so I had to mount it on the front brake. Additionally, you do need to purchase a separate bracket to fit it - this isn't made clear in the description.
