SRAM Apex Rear Derailleur

SRAM raises the bar once again with the new Apex rear derailleur with Exact Actuation. The Apex rear derailleur was developed according to the same design principles as SRAM's high-end products for the racing bike market. It operates with the new Exact-Actuation ratio, which provides the highest level of adjustment accuracy and exact geometry for maximum performance in the 10-fold range.

For the first introduction of road bike technologies, SRAM has again used its proven SRAM MTB 1:1 ratio for 10-speed rear derailleurs (suspension travel shift cable : Rear derailleur movement). EA helps create a simpler and more stable balance between the rear derailleur suspension design, tight sprocket gaps and precise tension. The result: a switching system that’s child's play to operate.
