I bought the brake, because my BB7 by extreme use in winter and insufficient care was no longer adjustable.
BB stands for the active principle, with balls on ramps moving the pads. This area belongs to greased.
In addition, it is advisable to move the brakes at least as far as possible.
The V-brakes on my other wheels I find personally more uncomplicated. However, I have to admit that I almost only use it when the weather is good and Flevobike Greenmachine with the BB7 ran when I leave the other vehicles.
