Very poor quality. The bearings force enormously: it does not turn !!!

The only reason I give this pedal all three stars are due. The cheap price so almost anyway is too much. This is definitely not a quality pedal.

Only for occassionally cyclists !!

Have these pedals since 2.5 months (September 10, 2013) and after about 1300Km and can only recommend them for occasion cyclists since these unfortunately have quite bad pedal bearings.
Visually and with a weight of only 236g I found these pedals really great, but unfortunately, after a few hundred kilometers, you already started to crack and creak, when I complained to the supplier, he gave me the good tip this again or More tightly screwed, which helped only if I crack in the stand drive and they still still loud loudly before themselves. In the end, this will probably mean the end for the camp.
The pedals and / or your bearings (not a real ball bearing available only in the new state) does not rotate completely without restoration is quite normal, since this type of bearing (cracked / stuck) is always screwed more tightly than necessary, this normalizes after a few Longer trips (retract). Furthermore, this is not so relevant for the opportunity cyclist!
Edit: 13.03.2014 They still live after complete maintenance (new lubrication) Stand 2300KM. Caution, if you want to open the pedals like me to lubricate the ball bearing grease, make sure to do this over a cloth, as all balls of the ball bearing can fail.
Edit: 03.04.2014 Since today stood about 2,700Km is the left Pedalelager complete and irreperable defect despite maintenance, therefore only 2 stars, because even my old pedals on my "oldtimer" wheels with more Km hold for years years onhne problems. I now have brand pedals from Shimano and can now say; These XLC pedals never ran as smoothly and quietly as the new Shimanos! There was always a "surreen" when stepping on noticeable.
