The PRO Adapter for Ahead Stems allows you to convert to a modern stem on a bike which has a threaded fork, with 1 1/8th- or 1-inch quill diameter.
Designed to provide you with a better sports’ bicycle experience the PRO Adapter for Ahead Stems allows you to modernise your classic bicycle. The alloy Adaptor for Ahead Stems replaces the traditional quill stem with an adaptor which allows you to fit anyone of the range of PRO Stems to your classic road or mountain bike. It is compatible with 1 1/8th- and 1-inch quill diameters and provides a 1 1/8th- or 1-inch stem clamping diameter, thanks to the two shim sizes; which ship with the Adapter.
