Product description
SCHWALBE No.7D Tube 20" Downhill
Not all inner tubes are the same: The Schwalbe 20" extra durable downhill tube fits for 20 inch bikes with wide MTB tyres and is extremely stable in air pressure! The rubber compound makes it possible: less air leakage means less pumping. Extremely reliable and with quality control for safe riding pleasure: Every Schwalbe tube is tested twice at the factory for its air retention.
Stable air pressure
A Schwalbe tube holds air much longer. The quality of the ingredients and the purity of the rubber mixture determine the quality of the tube even at the material stage. During vulcanisation, every Schwalbe tube is placed in a mould and pumped up. This is the only way to ensure uniform wall thickness and excellent air retention.
Reliability
The consistent control ensures the highest possible functional reliability: Each tube is pumped up at the factory and stored under pressure for 32 hours to check for air retention.
Group tube system
Due to the high elasticity and quality, a single tube covers many tyre sizes. For example, tube no. 17 works as well with a tyre width of 28 mm as with a tyre width of 47 mm. Only an extremely high-quality and reliable tube can meet this requirement.
Downhill
Extremely robust. A strengthened rubber O-ring protects against valve breakage. Only in downhill sizes. Those who desire a larger volume with less weight choose Extralight.
