Product description
SCHWALBE No. 10D Tube 24" Downhill
Not all tubes are the same.
Air pressure stability A Schwalbe tube holds air much longer. The quality of the ingredients and the purity of the rubber compound determine the quality of the hose already at the material stage. During vulcanization, each Schwalbe tube is placed in a mold and inflated. This is the only way to ensure uniform wall thickness and excellent air retention.
Reliability Consistent control that ensures the highest possible functional reliability: Each tube is pumped up at the factory and stored under pressure for 32 hours to check its air content.
Group tube system Thanks to its high elasticity and quality, a single tube covers a very large number of tyre sizes. For example, tube no. 17 works as well for a 28 mm wide tyre as for a 47 mm wide tyre. Only an extremely high-quality and reliable tube can meet this requirement.
Valve types: Tubes are available in three different valve types (SV, AV DV), the correct choice depends on the application and the diameter of the rim hole (8.5 or 6.5 mm).
Downhill version Particularly reliable tube variant for tough use, because the tube wall is extremely robust and hard-wearing. A reinforced rubber base protects against the dreaded valve rupture. If you want large volume at low weight, choose the Extralight version.
