Brooks B17 Narrow Imperial Saddle brown

The B17 Narrow Imperial is another variant of the old B17 design, with a striking longitudinal cut-out. First conceived and registered by Brooks a century ago. In the catalogue of J.B. Brooks & Co. from 1890 describes a model called B86 Imperial with its unique cut as "a safe preventive to relieve the dam area". Another special feature of the B17 Narrow Imperial are the perforations along the lower edge of the leather sides, which are brought together with a lace. This can be adjusted to maintain the shape of the saddle and maintain comfort in the long term. This lateral fine-tuning of the B17 Narrow Imperial is of course in addition to the usual preload mechanism commonly known on Brooks saddles
