Brilliant
If you are worried about weight or the thought of looking after your saddle then don't buy a leather saddle. If you are still reading, well done. After all as a percentage of the total rider + bike weight the saddle isn't that great. Unless you are an elite athlete I would suggest you try skimping elsewhere to lose the extra grams, seriously your bum will appreciate it. You need to give it a few hundred miles to fully break it in but don't panic, it isn't like sitting on a badly shaped stone bench until broken in. Your saddle yellow just get better and better each ride you take. You do need to feed it every now and then, but how often do you have to clean and re-lube your chain? Or, admit it, how often SHOULD you clean it?
