Brooks Cambium C19 Carved All Weather Saddle black (black)

The Cambium All Weather C19 Carved is a wider saddle made for an upright riding position, and features a hole for pressure relief and additional flex, eliminating contact points which cause discomfort for some riders. With the same contemporary design of the Brooks Cambium range, the All Weather is a durable and comfortable saddle that is “ready to ride”, thanks to a vulcanised natural rubber top for flexible performance requiring no breaking in period.

From freezing rain to blazing sunshine, the waterproof, weatherproof nylon cover is made to perform flawlessly in all conditions. Additionally the updated fibreglass reinforced back plate has loops for a saddle bag or other accessory.

I bought the almost identical saddle C17 (no longer available here) at the end of January. Unfortunately, after less than six months, I had to find out that although it is perfectly comfortable, it has destroyed several, partly brand-new and robust pants. The hard and structured surface seems to act like a grater; exactly the places with which you sit on the saddle are partially visible after 20km. Unfortunately only now discovered and because I couldn't believe it, I tried it again with super robust pants that have withstood all kinds of saddles and loads for more than ten years. But the Brooks saddle did this after just under a week and also only a few kilometers. Great, thank you for that. Now I have several really new and expensive pants that are only good for the residual waste bin and a saddle that is more suitable for Parmesan than anything else. Unfortunately, this is Brooks' second disappointment.

Good weather proof saddle.

A very good saddle and at a realistic discounted price. Was not sure if it would be wide enough for an upright seating position, but it is very comfortable once adjusted to your personal sweet spot.
