Is this really German design?
I never thought that something designed in Germany would have such a flimsy design. The engineer behind this should be fired. The battery compartment latch fell off before I took it on the first ride. I had to use electrical tape to close the lid shut. Unsurprisingly, a quick internet search showed that there are lots of people with the same issue. And this is for an item that is supposed to be mounted on bicycles, with constant vibration and the possibility of impacts. The light itself is bright and the beam is wide. It deserves 5 stars for the function and 0 for reliability & design. For a £70 item, I wouldn't expect it to fail the day I got it.
