The attachment of the rear light is definitely not suitable for the strut. Here the designer didn't give a thought.
Fastening a "designer" taillight with adhesive tape and cable ties has nothing to do with road safety and an attractive design.
Top for mudguard mounting, unsuitable for strut mounting.
