The light will turn off automatically within a minute. It doesn't matter whether the on button is at the top or bottom. I also have to press the on button many times to get it to turn on (it usually only flashes briefly).

I bought the rear light in 2018 and installed it as a replacement. In 2022 the parking light function failed. Since the housing is welded, repairing it is almost impossible. Replaced the rear light with a competitor's product.
