RECORD REAR DERAILLEUR
New mechanical rear derailleur Record 12 Speed: Precision, lightness and flexibility. The new Super Record 12X2 Speed rear derailleur can be described as a sculpture with an innovative shape that uses 3D Embrace technology to better cradle the smaller sprockets. The chain traction is always perfect, which benefits speed, power and shifting precision and ensures an optimum distance between the rear derailleur and sprockets at all times. In addition, the swivel bracket is designed for a connection with sprockets from 11 to 32 teeth, which is why a single model can be used for all sprocket packages in the range. The upper part of the Record 12 Speed mechanical rear derailleur housing is made of technopolymer and reinforced with carbon fibre in order to increase or decrease its resistance and weight, while the rear stops on the rear derailleur are equipped with adjusting screws to facilitate adjustment.
TOTALLY RENEWED DESIGN
The new shape of the external components allows the rear derailleur to move at a different angle. The new interior design keeps the chain closer to the sprocket package, ensuring better power transmission, stronger and safer traction, better chain/sprocket connection and better durability of components subject to wear.
The special gear inside the rear derailleur body (which acts on a spring with a rectangular cross section) allows the component to move along a path that follows the curve of the sprockets exactly, on cassette 11-23 as on the new 11-29.
