The product does the job of keeping the cables quieter but no excessive change. The cable is extremely delicate to install. Literally just a thin foam tube. Would have liked a more solid cover around the foam rubber.

A simple and effective solution to suppress the noise of the sheaths that hit the inside of the frame during descents. The diameter is given for the gearshift cables, but it is also compatible with the seatpost and brake sheaths.
However, it must be taken into account that installation requires releasing one end of the sheath to slide the protection around, which is not necessarily obvious. But it's really worth it to get rid of that annoying noise.
