The basis for the development of this new model was a checklist with details that Castelli believes could be better dealt with in winter gloves. Castelli wanted a comfortable, warm, but not too chunky glove, which can be put on and taken off without fumbling, protects against wetness but at the same time scores with breathability. Starting from the basic material, everything was covered. The combination of a water-repellent and windproof stretch outer layer with a PrimaLoft insulation layer guarantees warmth and high wearing comfort. Thanks to the zipper, the glove can be opened very wide for easy on and off. Although it does not look like a ski glove on the outside, it is suitable for moderately cold temperatures.

Provided that you do sports, i.e. that you generate body heat, these gloves can hold this heat with little material. They supposedly ventilate anyway and they are also simple and ergonomic. In damp weather they remain water repellent, in continuous rain they stop at some point. But that limit is very acceptable to me. The anti-slip layer is slowly coming off, but strangely only on the thumb. Don't bother me.
So for me a loyal training glove.

I received these gloves today and put them on for a short walk at around +2 degrees or even more.
Unfortunately, the gloves are intended for long, delicate hands - I tend to have "piano wearer's hands" ... although I have z. T. over 1 cm of space at the end of the finger - but although I bought the gloves extra in XL, there is no space for another pair of fleece gloves underneath (or it would be really very tight).
Unfortunately I had to experience that over a year ago with a couple from Roeckl; Unfortunately, I didn't put them on until months after buying them - and gave them away again ... They're actually way too tight.
But what really annoys me are my freezing fingers after a short time - as I said, I was only on foot, luckily not on my bike. At home, too, I had cold fingers for a long time. It is incredible that these gloves are offered as winter cycling gloves. Yes, they are light and not as thick as cheap discount gloves - but most of the time they are neither as tight nor freezing in them and only cost a fraction!
If the gloves weren't that tight, I could put on a pair of fleece gloves underneath, but only thin silk gloves or similar fit.
The only positive is m. E. The zipper, it's easier than the usual straps with Velcro or even just with an elastic knitted cuff.
