The ideal tight for most of your winter riding, the Velocissimo is designed for comfort for riding in mild to cool conditions. Castelli has used their Thermoflex fabric for the majority of the tight. It's not the warmest fabric, nor is it water repellent like Nano Flex, but it is the softest, stretchiest fabric for winter tights. The comfort is immediate and durable. For the lower leg from the knee up, Castelli use their Nano Flex fleece which is both warm and highly water repellent, protecting splash water from wet roads. It's also very stretchy, and Castelli leaves a raw edge so the ankles could be constructed without zips while ensuring the tight is easy to put on and take off. The KISS Air² seat pad and mesh bibs keep your bum and upper body happy, while large reflective details keep you visible.
