The compact device is of course also your ideal companion on hikes. If you activate the navigation function, a large arrow permanently shows the direction as well as upcoming directional changes. In pure navigation mode, you will see a sharp and easy-to-read map section in front of you, showing you all the important details of the surroundings - including a clear directional arrow.

As known and learned from the car navigation system, the Navic 400 allows you to activate the home function: The fastest route to your home address is immediately displayed. Also included in the Navi-Comfort-Package: The "tour suggestion function". By entering a starting point and a destination, the Navic 400 calculates a route whose profile the user can determine in advance. Here, maximum distance, elevation gain and the type of ground can be combined to the desired route profile - for the ultimate surprise tour.

The Navic 400 processes finished routes, which friends provide you with as gpx data or which you download from tour portals, with absolute ease: Simply upload them via data cable and the GPS data of the tour is saved in the tour directory and can be called up at the touch of a button. Another unbeatable advantage of the Navic 400 is its map material, a mix of Open Street Map and Falk and with exact contour lines from Kompass. The purchase price includes all regular map updates, so you never have to pay for map updates again.
