How to do something even better: the Grand Prix 5000 from Continental

The developers at Continental have put one special person at the center of these considerations - you. It is simply your time that you spend on the bike. Whether it's for training or competition. Difficult to get on, but look sturdier than previous tyre

It is early days yet, but these look much sturdier that the Schwalbe Pro 1 which they replaced. They were difficult to fit onto the rim and I had to use tyre levers, but that may be because I lack experience. I have only ridden on them a couple of times so far, and they have not sprung a leak yet. Unlike tyres mounted previously, which gushed sealant from punctures on their first outings on the flint laden road in the South Downs. Only time will tell if my leaking tubeless tyre problems are solved.
