These splash guards are far too fragile and malleable for the price. Mine was also delivered with a faulty part, with which to attach the front struts to the bike frame. The part was too short, while the other part that would sit on the other side of the bike frame was of the correct length. Fortunately, the bike mechanic fixed this with an adapter. Furthermore, the fenders attach very poorly at the rear, as the struts are mounted at a 90 ° angle instead of the clearly more ideal 45 ° angle. This results in them constantly shaking and rattling. It's an incredibly strange and unsuccessful design. However, they look nice, and therefore get 2 stars. The bottom line is that I absolutely do not recommend these splash guards.

More than two years ago, I bought a bike of the X-road series from the manufacturer Superior. In its eternal wisdom, Superior has found it convenient to design bicycle frames and front forks that, although they have mounting holes for fenders, but whose holes are placed in such places that it is basically impossible to find fenders that fit. However, Superior has specially adapted their bikes for Curana's splash guards, and when I now found that I needed permanently mounted splash guards on my bike, it was at Curana that I finally landed.
Unfortunately, these splash guards are under all criticism. For the price tag, you get two cheap, long pieces of plastic that are cherished on each side of a very light aluminum casing, hence the "sandwich" design that Curana talks about. The splash guards feel as if they can break at any time, as reviewers on the Internet quite rightly testify. On top of that, they also came delivered with different dimensions on the two "extension struts" of plastic that are intended to be used on the front splash guard. The bicycle workshop I asked for help to get the splash guards installed could make a small special solution with Specialized's "Plug and Play" adapters, but testified that the product was delivered with defective tools for installation. As a icing on the cake, the splash guard is astonishingly poorly designed, except for its fragile construction. The rear splash guard attaches to the frame with the struts angled completely perpendicular to the ground: at an angle of 90 ° relative to the seat post. This means that it shakes and rattles much more during the bike ride than it would have done if you had just designed the stays so that they are angled 45 ° relative to the seat post. Enough that splash guards reasonably rattle, but this is something else, and this only because of a very simple and astonishingly obvious mistake in the design. If you are looking for problems with Curana C-lite online, you will quickly learn to see this problem demonstrated on e.g. YouTube. I can not ö.h.t. understand why you did this when designing the splash guards.
However, they look nice, so they get two stars. If they had also been ugly, it would have been a complete bottom grade, but they are unfortunately not far from getting this grade. The cost of splash guards incl. shipping, together with installation at a bicycle workshop due to that Curana delivered them with defective tools, combined with their substandard performance, makes me clearly dissatisfied with this product. I can only advise future customers to avoid these splash guards.
