DT Swiss hubs rightly enjoy a legendary reputation. Several unique features have contributed to this: The Ratchet System freewheel technology is extremely durable, reliable and can be serviced within a few minutes without tools thanks to the plugged hub structure. Thanks to the same plug-in system, many hubs can be converted to most axle standards and thus fit any bike. The non-contact sealing system and high-precision assembly guarantee the best running characteristics so that the energy of the rider is converted exclusively into propulsion. DT pro lock technology
The screw locking system injected into the nipple allows the construction of extremely durable wheels. DT pro lock nipples prevent the spoke-nipple connection from loosening automatically. The integrated, patented screw locking system in the nipple thread is based on a two-component adhesive. As soon as the nipples are screwed in, an adhesive is activated which hardens completely at room temperature after approx. 6 - 7 hours. If necessary, the wheels can be used immediately after installation. Multiple re-centering is possible without any problems. However, the adhesive strength decreases slightly each time it is re-centered.
