DT Swiss PR 1400 Dicut Oxic Wheel 28" Front Wheel Alu 100 / 5mm black

The PR 1400 Dicut OXiC is at the top of the aluminium road wheels. The ceramic OXIC surface coating gives rim brakes unprecedented braking properties. The rim is wide, asymmetrical and light. This ensures an excellent ratio between stiffness and light weight. In a tubeless setup, in addition to its athletic character, the wheel offers more comfort and grip. At only 635 g this wheels is both extremely competitive and practical and in absolute harmony with its reduced design.

OXiC
The OXiC process describes an electrochemical ceramic coating, which makes the rim surfaces very hard and resistant. The result is an elegant, matt black finish that has excellent braking properties and reduces rim abrasion to an absolute minimum.

TUBELESS technology
Tubeless tyres offer some decisive advantages over the conventional combination of tyre and tube.

Straightpull technology
Straightpull stands for straight, uncrimped spokes. Thanks to this technology, it is possible to achieve an ideal ratio between weight and stability. The Straightpull spokes allow very precise alignment and optimised positioning in the wheels for a stiffer and more responsive wheels.

Straightpull hub technology
Straightpull hubs are designed for straight, uncranked spokes. They are extremely durable, reliable and convertible to almost all axle standards.

DICUT technology
From the highly developed, heat dissipating carbon rims to the asymmetrical aluminium rims made in Switzerland, DICUT wheels are high end. Straight pull injection and exhausted hub technology represent the state of the art.

Bladed
The central part of the spoke is flat forged for better aerodynamics. A combination of butted and bladed is possible to meet even higher demands on strength and weight saving.

Double Butted
These spokes have two different diameters. The spoke is partially butted by cold forging. This reduces the diameter and thus enables weight reduction while simultaneously improving the elongation values.

RWS
Fastening system patented by DT Swiss. Rigid, safe, and easier to operate than a quick release. 100% disc brake capability.

No special tool
Normal maintenance requires no special tool.
