Product description

Electra Loft 7i EQ Step Thru matte hazel (matte hazel)

Due to bottlenecks and delays in worldwide supply chains, the manufacturer may have replaced individual components from the original specification with equivalent or even higher quality components. Therefore, the bicycle delivered may deviate from the images in certain cases.

The Loft is a city bike all the way. This lightweight commuter puts the funk in functionality and is built to handle the rigors of the streets. The clean lines and straight bars give it a streamlined look while the 700c wheels and a foot-forward, upright riding position provide optimum speed, comfort and control.

Flat Foot Technology
Electras Flat Foot Technology means patented comfort and patented control on an Electra Bike. Without ever riding one, the difference is often underestimated. Characteristic are the particularly upright and relaxed sitting position with complete leg extension when pedalling as well as the possibility to place the foot completely on the ground when stopping without having to get off the saddle. The latter and the fact that the very upright sitting position provides a good overview of what is happening in the direction of travel are also safety-relevant advantages. The Flat Foot technology is not only characterised by ergonomic advantages, but also by the carefree driving pleasure associated with it.

fancy design, cheap quality
Translated from the German To the original
Looks nice. But is a typical blender wheel. Lots of lifestyle drivel on the website and also in the shop. But the bike: Very simple components. The bell doesn't ring, the stand is die-cast aluminum for 2.99 euros (and not able to hold the bike if it has a luggage rack in the front!), the tires are no name, without reflectors, the lighting system is really a nasty surprise: The rear light is not connected to the hub dynamo at all, but a simple battery lamp! With a bike in the 800 euro category. But the most unforgivable are the brakes, very primitive side-pull brakes, which are not state-of-the-art and rubbed our bike on the third ride. A "Made in Taiwan" (it says) bike that doesn't live up to its promise for the price...

chic design, miserable quality
Translated from the German To the original
Unfortunately, my wife was dazzled by the chic design of the Electra Loft. And from all the lifestyle drivel, the "American way of life" (the bikes are made in Taiwan) and the hip store with cappuccino. But the bike, that's what it's all about, the bike is an absolute joke in terms of quality. Cheapest components. Bell and stand: from the bottom shelf of the simple accessories. The lighting system with hub dynamo: The rear light is not even connected to it, but - seriously! - a battery light that you always have to turn on and off manually. The simplest derailleur from Shimano, which was also set so incorrectly that the gears constantly jumped out on the maiden voyage. At least that has been improved. But the worst are the brakes. Really the very, very simple side pull brakes that were standard in the sixties. They brake incredibly badly, and like all cheap side-pull brakes, they are crooked after the third ride at the latest and one of the brake cheeks rubs against the rim. What a huge marketing bubble! Tip: Drink the cappuccino in the café and buy the bike from a dealer who may not offer coffee, but quality instead of chatter. These bikes suck!

Quality disaster
Translated from the German To the original
Rusts, mudguards are very thin and bent immediately, screws are constantly loosening. Pfuj, never again made in the USA
