Ergon GC1 Grips Nexus black

Designed to meet the ergonomic needs of cyclists who use handlebars with a rearward bend. With these handlebars conventional grips cause the wrist to buckle. The GC1 corrects this malposition of the hand due to its anatomically and ergonomically correct shape.

Locked down for safety
The GC1 Series clamping system is extremely secure and easy to mount. Each grip is tightened with only one bolt to reliably secure its position and to prevent twisting. Another important safety feature is that Ergon’s aluminum clamps are cold forged and not extruded. This results in a much stronger structure.

Grip rubber Made in Germany
The material used in Ergon grips meets the highest quality purity standards being TÜV-certified, durable and absolutely unique in the world of cycling grips. This rubber is developed without filler and uses medical grade white oil as the only plasticizer. The UV-resistant rubber compound has been developed and is manufactured exclusively for Ergon in Germany. Ergonomics, product design and engineering – all Made in Germany.

Compatible with Rohloff und Nexus
This special version of the GC1 Biokork is also compatible with Rohloff and Nexus twist shifts. For regular shifting both grips are the same length. With the Rohloff and Nexus twist grip version, the grip on the right side is shortened and the left is a standard length.
