The Fox Titan is actually a great protector jacket - but a few weaknesses only make the rating 2 stars.
Overall quality is good - for full protection the jacket is really airy. The fabric is thin, but doesn't look flimsy or overly sensitive.
Easy to put on and true to size.
Three strong criticisms now:
1. The elbow protectors are neither flexible nor divided into two. For me, they pressed hard whenever I bent my arm more. In addition, the upper arm part of the elbow is then unprotected - an absolute no-go in the event of a fall!
I tried it several times on a soft floor mat - exit backwards on the back - no protection in this position on the elbow, unfortunately.
2. The chest protectors are so stiff and big, and the jacket's backing material is so soft that the chest part is always slipping back and forth. Sometimes it's pinched under my neck, sometimes it's pressing into my stomach. Not really suitable for a protective jacket for a movement-intensive sport...
3. The use of a neck brace was never thought of. No cut-outs and no really suitable contact surfaces on the jacket. A few loops on the shoulders would also be nice to hang a neck protector there, as is standard with many other protectors.
