The new Racing 5 DB wheels are the perfect choice for long-distance racing bikes. The rims with their low 24 mm U-profile ensure lower air resistance and increased stiffness, thus saving energy and improving comfort. This means they are ideally equipped for long rides and tough climbs without having to worry about rain or wind.

The inner dimension of the aluminum rim has been increased to 20 mm (the previous model was 17 mm) and the rim now offers the innovative 2-Way fit system, so tires with 25-28 mm now fit perfectly, whether clincher or tubeless tires (tubeless tape is fitted ex works and valves are included).

As with the new Racing DB 4, the look has been upgraded with new laser-etched graphics to ensure the long life of this striking design.

ANTI-ROTATION SYSTEM
This new system takes the concept of the storage system to a new level of performance. Fulcrum's engineers have redesigned the spokes and hub shells to create a strong and solid unit. This applies to the spokes:
a) that they never lose their initial tension and the wheel remains perfectly responsive and centered and
b) that they remain in the position developed in the wind tunnel to ensure the best possible aerodynamics.
