Indeed, the very features that have made the Racing 5 LG such a popular wheel are now complemented by new elements, making this model tangible for all, but also ideal for racing.

The asymmetric profile of the rear rims and the design provide significant performance benefits in terms of lateral and torsional stiffness, but also in terms of increased responsiveness. This design provides a better distribution of spoke tension, making the wheel stiffer and more powerful.

RDB Rim Dynamic Balance
The concept is simple yet ingenious: balance the mass of the rim joint with a mass of the same value, positioned exactly opposite.

Anti-rotation system
This new system brings the concept of the spoking system to a new level of performance.
Fulcrum engineers have redesigned the spokes and hub shells to create a strong and solid unit.
Here’s how this applies to the spokes:
a) that they never lose their initial tension and the wheel remains perfectly responsive and centered and
b) they remain in the position developed in the wind tunnel to ensure the best possible aerodynamics.

Wide Rim Tech
The Fulcrum F E department, following the requests of the racing teams, worked to create rims with a greater width in relation to the past, from about 4 mm more than the previous ones.
This technical choice makes it possible to offer the ideal support base for 25/28 mm tyres, the sizes preferred today. In this way, stability, optimum handling and high comfort are guaranteed.
