The everyday passion, the alarm clock that rings in the morning for training, the "stolen" hours before dinner, the long rides on Saturdays with friends: Adventure, goals, flow. These wheels are ideal for a variety of different situations, so Fulcrum engineers put themselves in the shoes of those who might choose them and asked: what do these wheels need? What do you need?
Reliable, balanced in weight, with just the right amount of stiffness to count on. Look around, enjoy one corner after the other and follow your own seasonal program. The Fulcrum R&D department examined the market and then provided its own interpretation. They created cross-country wheels that are more than a match for today's tracks and ready to go, with a widened rim bed and solid and sophisticated spoke. You'll be amazed at the features of this best in class.
AFS Axle System
The Axial Fixing System has been developed by Fulcrum to fix the disc brake to the hub. The limitation caused by the impact area of the release mechanism, which is greater than that of the known mechanism, makes it possible to achieve greater structural rigidity and thus more precise and powerful braking.
One hub fits all
A solution that meets the need to quickly and easily adapt to the various axle standards on the market.
Different adapters make it possible in just a few steps for the wheel to be ready for mounting on your own bike.
2Way - Fit Ready (MTB)
This procedure allows the Red Zone 500-700 and Red Fire 500 wheels, designed for use with air chambers, to be converted to tubeless ready wheels, i.e. without air chambers and with the mandatory use of a tyre sealant. In order to ensure correct conversion of the wheels, it’s essential to follow the procedure below using the components listed below:
Fulcrum Rubber Ring:
Width 30 mm / 29 '' for Red Zone Series
Width 35 mm / 27.5'' for Red Fire 500
Effetto Mariposa (Butterfly Effect): Coffee latex
