Unless stated otherwise all of our bikes and brake accessories are sold according to the EU standard brake setup (right hand rear and left hand front) which is in reverse to UK standard brake setup.
Please note: the majority of our electronic products that come with plugs are fitted with 2-pronged EU plugs as standard. The operating voltage remains the same, however you may require an additional, simple EU to UK adapter to use them

Hello, I have the old Trekking 5, which has the same frame as the new Trekking 4. I've now covered almost 1000 km myself. Both bikes are quite similar. Some components are slightly different and the motor is Shimano, not Bosch.
So far I am very satisfied with the quality of Haibike.
Therefore only reviews of the frame:
The mid frame is also well suited for men who do not always want to climb over the saddle. Size 48 fits me very well at 1.72m. Saddle and handlebars are comfortable even on longer tours. As a sporty rider, I think it's great that the handlebars are as wide as on a mountain bike. That gives me a good feeling in corners and when I have an uneven surface.
I like the width and the handling feels very safe even at high speeds. The components are of course not the highest quality, but more than sufficient. For almost 2500-3100€ new (depending on the offer) or up to 2000€ used, it is a good bike with which you cannot do much wrong.
In case of doubt, the components can be exchanged easily and inexpensively. You have to be aware of that when you buy a bike.
Unfortunately, the bike as a mid has no screw points for bottle cages. But there are cheap solutions for that.
Removing the battery from the mid frame is a bit fiddly but still easy. I am very pleased. Clear purchase recommendation
The bike is a good introduction to the e-bike world. I use it for my daily commute of about 37km a day, ride at least a 45km tour on the weekend and for errands of 15km per week.
