Developed almost 30 years ago, it is the original! It is now available more or less as a retroversion now. The basic shape has been kept, the decor has been adpated to the VIPER. What remains is the name: TAIPAN 26.
In its heyday, it was the hottest trend for the emerging MTB culture of the 80s. The practical installation an almost unviversal fit impressed from the word go. The TAIPAN 26 virtually sold itself, in the last millenium, millions were sold throughout Europe.

I had a hard time finding mudguards that fit between my v-brakes, these are very simple, fit well in the mounting locations of my old ATV, just passed the vibration test successfully and seem to protect against splashes. The only limit is not to ride in heavy mud because with 26 "wheels there is little space between the mudguard and the tire.
