Trollheimen has been redesigned with a new fit, new fabrics and the warmth-to-weight efficiency has been improved by 20 %. The biggest design change is the shape. If a sleeping bag fits well, it will keep you warm. Helsport translated the fit of the Rago series into a synthetic bag using the same high-performance water - repellent Helsport Thermoguard fill and adjusting the shape of the shoulders and hood to minimise heat loss.
Waking up with wet feet is never fun and it’s only too easy to push against the end of the tent while you sleep, transferring condensation inside. Helsport have solved this by adding durable waterproof fabric around the foot end. This simple change makes a huge difference, especially if you enjoy sitting outside in the evening in your sleeping bag, or if you sleep under the stars. To make the bag even more useful Helsport added reflective piping around the feet for greater visibility and simplified the main zip with a new anti-snag internal draft tube.
The hood drawcord is now internal to keep it away from your face, the cord material is updated, and the design is improved for ease of use. The hood opening has been completely changed with a soft, insulated face muff added for greater comfort while you sleep. Underneath, Helsport have kept the same no-slide base to make sure you wake up in the same place where you went to sleep. There is a handy pillow pocket under the hood for extra clothes or a small pillow, and reflective tabs at the foot for a final touch.
The compression sac has been updated with new fabric, double-ended compression fins and low-profile buckles to avoid snagging. The lid opening has been highlighted with a strip of reflective piping for ease of use.
