IXS Flow EVO+ Knee Pads grey (grey)

With the Flow Evo+ knee guard, iXS provides super thin, light and comfortable knee protectors. Developed with mountain bike legend Hans Rey, pads are super compact to fit any backpack. The integrated XmatterTM padding concept provides high impact absorption and protection. With the Flow Evo+ we introduce product properties like exchangeable padding, structurally improved AeroMeshTM of newest generation offering a higher level of comfort and structural strength.

X-Matter
Flexible Viscoelastic polymer absorbs forces upon impact without hindering range of motion. The open cell compound is engineered to withstand multiple impacts in the same region while retaining its shock absorbing properties.

Removable Pad
Opening for easy removal of protection pad.

Aeromesh
Lightweight and anti-bacterial treated 3D performance mesh, optimized for breathability and moisture wicking.

The knee pads are also comfortable on longer tours with several meters of altitude and on ascents, do not restrict and do not slip. I am between two sizes and chose the larger one. Luckily I can't say anything about the protection itself. I open the Velcro rather carefully, because I can imagine that the rubber band on which the Velcro is sewn would otherwise wear out too quickly.
