The all-time classic book pack for uni, office and travel. The Berkeley is Jack Wolfskin's most popular day pack. It's made of an extra robust fabric and the Y.D. (yarn dyed) version has a special woven structure. The pack is reliable, comfortable and very compact. It's specially designed to carry books, documents and A4 files. There's tons of room for these in the two main compartments. Alternatively, the Berkeley Y.D. will also carry your shopping or your gear for a weekend trip. And it's really comfortable, too, thanks to the Snuggle Up carry system with its wide shoulder straps and even load distribution. The structure of the fabric, which has been woven from different yarns, gives the pack its signature look. The yarns are pre-dyed before they are woven.
Snuggle Up Super comfortable carrying system for day packs, developed by Jack Wolfskin - Extra wide carrying straps, a flat carrying yoke in the neck area and the continuous EVA back padding create a special effect that sets the Snuggle Up system apart from conventional daypacks: The load is evenly distributed over the shoulders and back over a large padded area. The punctual load on the shoulder area is significantly reduced, and the backpack always sits perfectly on the back.
Armatech Plus 600D (100 % Polyester) Extremely durable and resilient material due to its fine and dense weave. The polyester fibres used are particularly colourfast and highly UV-resistant. It is used as a base material for daypacks and as a base for many smaller touring backpacks.

The backpack is quite stable and sturdy. He has integrated many well-divided compartments and zipped pockets. The comfort is okay too. Well padded. Also includes a tray tablet or even a not too large laptop. Now I hope for a longevity of the backpack. Highly recommended so far.
