Compatibility
KMC shift chains are compatible with all shift systems. KMC does not distinguish between MTB and road chains. The product names speak for themselves: The chains of the X11 series, for example, fit all 11-speed systems and are suitable for all applications.

Simple assembly 
Almost all KMC chains are supplied with a chain lock. Installation is very simple and a secure connection is guaranteed. To shorten the chain to the correct length, you only need a standard chain riveting tool. For closing and opening you need a chain plier.

Durability
Many practical tests have shown that KMC chains last longer than chains of other well-known brands. The wear of a chain depends on many factors, such as application, maintenance and care or individual shifting behaviour. It is therefore difficult to give general information. KMC chains offer the best possible performance and durability.
