The Löffler winter trousers in XL fit me (1.80 m; "long-legged person") very well. The windstopper fabric on the front provides excellent wind protection. A small downer: For my taste, however, it could extend to the ankle rather than just below the knee. Especially in cold and rainy weather, things can quickly become a bit uncomfortable on your shins. It's a shame... By the way, my previous model, which is well over 20 years old (also without an insert and with the Löffler-typical Transtex lining on the lower back and Gore wind stopper over the entire front area) is actually better equipped in this regard. Therefore, unfortunately, a point deducted.
Further suggestion for improvement: Please also put a wind stopper over the buttocks to protect against moisture in the bad weather mentioned above!
