The classic robust yet forgiving character of chromoly steel meets modern day long and slack geometry, a match as perfect as mountain biking and post-ride burritos. This new 29” wheel trail slayer was purpose built for silly fun days in the woods, no matter the conditions. Use it as a back-to-the-roots, all-in-one trail slayer, or as that perfect “n+1 bike,” on days when the full suspension bike stays at home in the shed. Named in honor of Marin favorite post-ride taqueria, the El Roy is overflowing in solid spec choices, all wrapped up with a stout Series 3 double butted and formed CrMo frameset. All Trails, all conditions
The El Roy is the ultimate aggressive steel hardtail that’ll get you to the top, and then really shine on the way down, with a spicy mix of progressive geometry and supple steel.

Series 3 CrMo-frame
The El Roy is built on a stout Series 3 4130 CrMo frame with investment cast dropouts, integrated drop-in headset, external brake and hose mounts, all fully ED coated for longevity.

Gravity-oriented geometry, with a 63 degree headtube and 78 degree seattube angles, 44mm fork offset, and long reach measurements (Regular+480mm, Grande + 510mm)

Two sizes
Regular and Grande frame sizes fit a wide range of riders, with included 150mm (Regular) or 170mm (Grande) dropper posts.

Investment cast dropouts
Custom investment cast CrMo 148x12mm Boost thru-axle drop outs provide strength and stuiffness where you need it most.
