Product Description

Please note: all of our bike models come with an EU standard brake setup. This will need to be reversed to comply with UK cycling standards.

The Rift Zone is Marins most speed oriented MultiTrac bike, created for the rider looking for the speed and roll over capabilities of 29” wheels in a trail capable package. Long, low, and slack trail geometry is more aggressive than an XC race bike for more control at top speed, and more fun while chasing seconds.

Great bike
Geweldige fiets
Translated from Dutch To the original

I have had the bike for about 1.5 months now and would choose no other. You will notice from the geometry and components that this bike focuses on going down. And he does it great. If you put the dropper down, you can just go. Corners are very nice and the bike is very playable; you can easily throw it back and forth and you can easily jump around with it. Yet it also feels very stable and drives over everything without problems. The tires may be a bit over the top for where I drive (Netherlands), but they give grip! The suspension works well and is easy to adjust. Although the focus is on descending, this bike can also climb very well. Yes, the tires provide a bit more rolling resistance and you may have to lean a little more forward than with an XC bike, but it still climbs wonderfully. You can also lock or "firm" the rear and front suspension, I do this sometimes when I know that a long climb is coming and I am already tired, but otherwise I always drive with everything open. Both the brakes and drivetrain (Shimano) work very well, even when it is wetter and some mud gets on it. The same goes for the dropper. For some, the 780 mm handlebar will be less fine, but I think it is very nice to drive. You sometimes notice that you have to pay more attention with narrow squiggles, but I like it that way. What might be useful to know is that you cannot fit a large water bottle in the frame, I now always drive with a 500ml and that is fine but larger will probably not fit. For those who are curious: I am 175cm tall and weigh about 70kg (with cycling clothes etc.). My previous bike was a Cube attention 2016 (29 ") and I mostly ride in the Netherlands. I have this bike in size M.
