It is the highest quality aluminum trail wheel that Mavic has ever built . The rims are made with patented Fore technology, which features a fully sealed upper web that eliminates the need for rim tape. This saves 30 grams per wheel and eliminates the hassle of mounting tubeless tires with tape. The rim has an internal width of 30 mm, perfect for optimizing the performance of all modern trail tires. It is equipped with a super strong triangular shape, specially designed to absorb shocks on the trail. Black Shield technology gives them a distinctive finish that protects against scratches and abrasion. Mavic uses 24 straight-pull spokes to further optimize the sweet spot between lateral stiffness and vertical compliance. The Infinity hubs feature a stiffer and lighter construction complemented by the ultra-reliable ID360 dual ratchet system for quick engagement. The wheelset is designed for 6-bolt or center-lock disc mounts and is compatible with Shimano HG9, SRAM XD and Micro Spline freehub bodies.
